Pete Stringfellow
Pete Stringfellow plays the part of Dallas Trent. Pete’s acting experience ranges in movies, television and internet shows. He recently co-starred in an episode of the hit TV Show “Nashville” on ABC, and can be seen in the award-winning movie “NEW”. He’s currently acting in a film that’s in production entitled “For What It’s Worth”. Pete shares his time between Santa Rosa, CA and Nashville, TN and has been a professional entertainer for over 15 years as an actor and country singer.
He explains, “This was definitely a challenging role for me, but I really enjoyed bringing Dallas to life. I was wanting to work with writer/director Adam Reeves for a couple years now, so I was stoked that I finally got to. He’s written an amazing comedy that will make you think. I am honored to be a part of it.”
AUSTIN TRENT
Jacob Ellis
Jacob Ellis discovered his love for acting in High School, and has since been in a number of theatre productions on the bay area including “Danny” in SideReel theatre production of A Contemporary American’s Guide to a Successful Marriage and “Orlando” in Cabrillo’s production of As You Like It. He recently began pursuing a film career, his debut film appearance being in the television show Campus Crimes and will soon begin shooting for another feature Can’t Thread a Moving Needle. This will be Jacob’s first starring role in a feature film and he couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with such an interesting and unique project. He is excited to have a chance to bring Austin to life this summer.
JACKIE
Blake Fiegert
Blake Fiegert is an actor who grew up in the country of Victoria in Australia. He found his growth while attending Stella Adler in 2012 while he was there full time on scholarship. Australia has been a great platform for Blake to be apart of TV and theatre shows. However, this year Blake is aiming to build the foundations of his career in Los Angeles. His support team is growing and includes the wonderful Pure Talent Management.
Blake has been involved with several projects since arriving in February, and he can not wait for what the universe has in store for him later this year. He is excited to be a part of “My Brother’s Shoes” and believes that the role of Jackie will be an excellent challenge. He fell in Love with Jackie’s complex nature. Blake is thankful for this wonderful opportunity.
KATELYN TRENT
Gretta Sosine
Gretta Sosine is a Bay Area native, growing up in a small town an hour outside of San Francisco California. At a young age, Gretta knew she wanted to be an actress, but it wasn’t until she was discovered by a producer at a restaurant in San Francisco, that her career started to take off.
Gretta first appeared on our TV screens as “saucy” Nurse Jane on NBC’s short- lived series, Trauma. She has worked on big name films such as, “Money Ball,” starring Brad Pitt and HBO’s, “Hemingway and Gellhorn,” Starring Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen. Gretta has also worked on several independent films, with a standout lead performance in “Petite Chardonnay.” She took on a dark, gut wrenching lead role as a hostage victim on ID Discovery’s hit crime reenactment show, “I Almost Got Away with IT,” and recently appeared in Papa Roach’s Music Video, “Before I Die” off their latest album, “The Connection,” portraying the lead singer’s wife.
Gretta is thrilled to have been cast in “My Brother’s Shoes,” as Katelyn! She feels the story is relevant and is one that can help bring families closer together. She is drawn to films that provoke thought, opening people’s minds and hearts. “‘My Brother’s Shoes’ allows us to celebrate our differences and laugh while doing it!”
Gretta enjoys a full, rich life of being a mother and a wife as well as an actress and has said it’s the simple things that make her the happiest. Her favorite quote is “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” Henry David Thoreau
BILLY
Joseph Nelson
Joseph Nelson is a recent transplant to California. He studied acting at The University of Iowa and improv at The Second City in Chicago. Afterward he performed with the improv troupe The Stuntmen for 4 years. He is very honored and excited to be a part of this project.
MITCH
Robert Vann
Robert Vann, tenor, enjoys an active vocal solo career throughout Northern California. Concert performance highlights include solos in Carmina Burana with Sacramento Ballet, The Coffee Cantata with the California Baroque Ensemble and Bach’s Cantata No. 61 with the Apollo Symphony & Chorus. Robert has been described as possessing “an effortless, beautiful tenor” by Janos Gereben of the San Francisco Classical Voice. Opera News called his portrayal of Hilarion in Princess Ida with Lamplighters Music Theatre “Impassioned”. A performer with nearly twenty stage roles to his credit, recent opera/musical theater engagements include the role of Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata and Pollione in Bellini’s Norma (both with Pocket Opera of San Francisco), Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Seviglia with California Opera and has performed most of the tenor leads in the Gilbert & Sullivan canon with the Lamplighters of San Francisco and Light Opera Theatre of Sacramento. He resides in Sacramento, CA with his wife, soprano Carley Neill.

Donna Sachet
Donna Sachet appears as singer, actress, emcee, comic, fundraiser, event producer, and celebrity drag personality throughout San Francisco. She appeared as national spokes model for Smirnoff Twist Vodka and as the face of Halloween in the Castro 2003-2005, entertained aboard RSVP Cruises 2006-2007, including the historic transatlantic crossing of the Queen Mary 2, guided television’s Bay Area Backroads through The Castro, has co-anchored the live television coverage of the June SF Pride Parade for 9 years, and was featured in individual stories in The SF Chronicle, the Bay Guardian, GLOSS magazine, and on ABC television. She can be heard singing on the benefit holiday compilations Carols Across America and Songs of the Season. In 2009, Donna was the first drag personality in history to sing the National Anthem for a major league sports game at AT&T Park for the SF Giants. Her stage credits include 3 versions of Jungle Red (a musical drag parody of The Women), the female lead in A. R. Gurney’s Love Letters, and Sylvia in Ruthless, the Musical. A biographical documentary short film Sachet by Nick Jimenez will be screening this fall.
